TERMINOLOGY USED
This section covers the style of language that will be used by your Driving Instructor as well as DSA Driving Examiners during the course of your Driver Training and Driving Test.
Remember the Golden Rule. “Nothing said. Straight Ahead”
GENERAL DRIVING
Pull up on the left at a safe and convenient place.
Drive on when you’re ready
Take the next road on the left / right.
Take the second road on the left / right. This is the first.
At the very end of the road turn left / right.
At the crossroads turn left / right.
At the roundabout turn left. It is the first exit.
At the roundabout follow the road ahead. It is the second exit.
At the roundabout turn right. It is the third / fourth / fifth exit.
At the traffic lights turn left / right.
