MANOEUVRES
3 Point Turn.
I’d like you to turn the car around in the road to face the opposite direction. Try not to touch the kerb at either side.
Corner Reverse
I’d like you to drive on when you’re ready, stop just past the next junction on the left/right, and reverse into the side road for some distance keeping reasonably close to the kerb.
Reverse Bay Parking
I’d like you to drive into the car park and reverse into a convenient bay of your choice on the left.
Parallel Park
I’d like you to drive on when you’re ready, pull up just alongside the next car on the left and reverse back into a parking space behind it.
Emergency Stop
Shortly I shall be asking you to carry out an Emergency Stop. The signal that I will give will be
STOP (right hand will be raised). When I give the signal to stop, I’d like you to stop the car as quickly and as safely as possible.
